Aussie knows drop it... and when we say drop it she will spit something out... but I have to say "completely" for her to spit it ALL out.... usually goes...

LB: "Aussie, drop it"
Aus: spits out a bit of stick
...5 seconds go by...
LB: "Completely"
Aus: rest of stick comes out...

it really is live having a child...

Hi Lori

LOL that is sooo funny, I have decided long ago that Magic is a kid in a fur coat. So now I'm doing the same thing, I have to say "right now" or she won't do what I ask. I know it's all my fault for not following through the first time without repeating the command and saying right now! It's ok we all have furkids that are waaay smarter than we are sometimes.

That's really funny Lorie!
With our Corgi, I usually give a command and she does it slowly. I say "hurry" and she changes to high gear. Just like a teenager...

Me too! I tell Franny to "come", and when she looks at me and hesitates, I say "now!" I think she thinks I'm saying "no" to whatever she was about to do. Then she comes.

When we give Cleo a command(usually lay down or sit) and she doesn't want to do it she just stares at you and you have to say "Do it" for her to take you seriously...are we training them or are they training us?? :)

Oh my gosh, is that Cleo in the picture? I would bend to her command. What a cutie. What is she?
