I keep hearing about NILF, but I cannot for the life of me, find where the explanation or guidelines for this philosophy are. Pleeeeeease help me or guide me to a link. I'd like to begin it possibly, if I had somewhere to start.

Hi acrowe,
NILIF is an acronym for Nothing In Life Is Free, a brilliant way to train your dog in a positive way. Here are some links to information on it -

http://www.greyhoundlist.or g/nothing_is_free.htm
http://www.ddfl.org/behavior/nilif.htm

I just did a google search on 'NILIF' and it turned up loads. Hope this helps!

Heya!
Glad you found some info on NILIF. Yeah, I can see how 'NILF' would be a bit surprising if typed into a search, you seen American Pie at all? But anyway, start implementing NILIF and you will probably notice differences in your dogs behaviour very soon! Good luck!
