Itchy face...

My big girl Life has always loved to snuggle her big ol' head up against me, but lately she seems to be doing it more. She also loves to use the couch blankets as a napkin/head rub place along with anything else. She doesn't do it constantly, nor does she scratch at her face with her paws. Spring has come, I am wondering if this is just allergies? This is her first spring up here (moved over the winter) and I am wondering if she may be allergic to some blooming flowers, etc. Anyone have any ideas? I switched her to a higher quality food approx. 3 months ago, however her poops look outstanding (better than before) and she is healthy. Her ears are clean and cool. I am a little stumped.

Maybe she's just leaving her scent on you and the couch blankets. These are things in her world and she wants to make sure everyone knows they are hers. :confused:

I went to the vet today and the vet told me its probably pollen allergies. My dog was rubbing his face against the carpet and one of his eyes was a little redder than normal. Hope this helps some!

thats what I think it is because it is worse after she just comes in from outside.
It does help to know there are other dogs out there with pollen 'lurgies. :)
