draging his butt

my puppy is 10 months old, male neutered and has been dewormed three times since 8 weeks old. Resently I seen him drag his butt on the carpet...does this mean possiblitly he may have worms? or something else.

90% of the time, scooting their butts on the ground means a full anal gland. You can extract it at home, groomers or a vets. If he hasnt already had it drained, I'm sure its more than full by now after worms and worming meds. they tend to make more fluid in. Good luck!

Dorothy, why do you keep deworming your puppy?

Margaret is right. It can be full anal glands. If you want to keep from getting charged fees for it, let the vet show you or technician when they do it unless you would rather have them do it. Some dogs tend to get full anal gland a lot and some don't.
