I found one!!!!

Today we got a BabyJogger for Waldo (some of you might remember my previous post about this). Now he can come along during my runs and long hikes! We took a short walk along the river behind our house to test it out. Unfortunately it was raining so we weren't out too long. But I did manage to get some pictures. Check it out:

The jogger. And my boyfriend, Waldo, and Peanut by the river.

Wow that's great. Now Waldo can come with you anywhere you go without having to walk sooooo far. It's really wonderful what they come up with now a days isn't it.

Enjoy your time with Waldo and Peanut and your walks.

Thanks!
Today I took him for a slow, short 2 mile run. My boyfriend walked Peanut so I could focus on getting used to the babyjogger before I attempt to take them both with me. It was great! We all walked along until Waldo seemed a bit pooped. Then I put him in the jogger and took off on my run. A few minutes into it, he curled up and went to sleep! When he woke up near the end, he just sat and watched the passing scenery. After I finished running, I met up with my boyfriend and Peanut again, and we let Waldo out to walk the rest of the way home. I couldn't be happier about the babyjogger. I really don't care if anyone thinks I'm a crazy doggy mom. The fact that Waldo doesn't have to be left behind more than makes up for any funny looks I might get.
I spoke to my mom and sister on the phone tonight, to share the news. I thought they might tell me I had gone too far. But they know me and Waldo, and they have the same love for their animals. Now they can't wait 'til we can all get together for hikes this summer.
And of course, Waldo is always happiest when he's with the family (especially me -- he's a momma's boy) so it's the best money I've spent in a while.
Yay! :dogrun:

I think it's AWESOME that you got the baby jogger cart for Waldo. What a great idea. Waldo is SOOOO cute and he looks totally comfy in his little seat. I think it's great that you have figured out a way to let him still be a part of all of the activites with you and Peanut. Waldo is lucky to have you as his mom!
