Hey Kelly, welcome to doggiebag!!! its great to see another beagle owner. Right now there was only Jody and me.
Mine is a 1 yr old (April 10th) and her name is Nala. Here's a picture of her:

I didnt realize that a beagles coloring could change so dramatically! Her little face went from black to brown!

I have two chis and they do the head tilting too when i talk to them, frodo with both ears standing straight and Tika with her one striaght and one flopped over ear

Oh yeah, she changed big time!!! she looks like a completely different dog, she lost her black hair from head, ears and legs and orange-brownish hair grew instead. Right now she's loosing balck hair in her back and brown is coming in!!! the only color that has stayed the same is white, lucky me since I just love the white stripe in her head...

The only thing I hate about all this hair thing is the shedding!!!! oh god, shedding black hair in my white couch!!!! :eek:

Andre, I have the opposite problem...shedding white hair on the Black couch!:) :) :) Ace has white on his chest and stomach and almost black all over except for the brown face.

For the longest time, it didn't matter. I had a longhaired, white and orange cat and a heavy shedding black Pug. So, dark or light colored furniture and clothes.....I had it all covered!! Now, it's mostly white fur (and light gray with the other kitty). Spanky has white with dark gray spots, but the gray fur doesn't show up as much (or he doesn't have as much) as the white!! And I still have the white cat fur everywhere, too!
