[Summer Magic]

Hi Everyone

We made it home last night about 8:00. Both of us were really tired. It took two twelve hour days driving to get home but it's nice to be back in my own house again. We had rain mixed with snow from the border of Michigan all the way home. It wasn't fun but we made it.

Ahhh, home sweet home! :D Judy, I saw your other post about shutting down for a few days, but I'm not sure where you went or why you were on such a long road trip. We're you guys on vacation or something?

Sorry for not being clear about the trip. My mom and I winter 35 miles south of Tampa, Florida from November to the end of April or first of May. We just left our Florida house on Friday and drove from there to my home in Michigan for the summer months. My house is on a lake here in Michigan and it's just beautiful in the spring and summer. We have been doing this every year for the last four years. It's nice to be able to be in the warm sunshine and miss all of the snow and cold of Michigan winters.

I'm just glad the drive is over and I'm back home in my own house.

My parents are just like you. They live in Bradenton, Florida during the winter and in northern Wisconsin during the spring/summer. They just got back up north a few days ago too!!

Wow Hee, what a coinsidence, our Florida home is in Palmetto which is right across the Manatee River from Bradenton.

Yes, I have heard of Palmetto. I never go to Florida though because all they (my parents) do is golf and where they live, sometimes I feel like I am the only person under the age of 50. LOL!
