This is only my second post, and I thought I would try to post some pics!!
This is our newest addition, Boomer. He is a wGSD mix, about 4 months old. Hes a great dog, and we are very happy to have him. He is very gentle with my children, and doesnt know a stranger. We are thinking that he may have some Lab in him, because he sure does have that happy go lucky attitude. And he is starting to show a very stubborn nature. (I had a lab growing up, and he was very bull headed at times!) ;)
He loves rawhides and treats....we dont think that he ever had a treat before he came to live here with us. I got him a KONG today with some treats and the spread stuff to go in it....he is in LOOOOOVE!

This picture was taken last night. About 2 weeks since the picture above. His ear is completly down (they are having a hard time deciding what to do!)...we think that he is starting to teethe. We are taking bets on whether or not it will come up.

And this is a very sleepy pup after being very good and patient with me taking pictures of him.

Im gonna have to try and get some pics of him outside or something. Looking at these he looks pretty dingy...but he is a very bright white, with the yellow on his ears. Guess that goes with the territory of having a white dog...they get dirty fast!
Thanks for looking and reading my very long post! This looks like a great board, and Im sure that I will be spending lots of time here!

Thank you guys for the nice compliments on Boomer! We sure think he is a cutie too! (that ear just cracks me up!!)
Heres a couple of his buddies the cats. He likes to think that they are his own personal chew toys~~
This is our boy Cinder.

And this is his little sis Jynx. They are the same age, but Cinder has grown to be almost twice her size!

We enjoy them very much too! They are excpetionally well behaved with my children. They lOVE to be picked up and cuddled or walked around..and the kids love to do it. Win/win!!
Too bad I cant get an animals eyes better in pictures. They have really neat gold colored eyes. It makes them look very intense. We call Jynx our own "Twisted Whiskers". Her eyes are so big, and her body is so petite. :p
Thanks for looking!

Thanks Andre.
That's a beautiful cat too with the ultra shiny black coat and beautiful yellow eyes. I'm the only dog person in my family. My family all has rescue cats which I love too.

Hi Jamie
Your Boomer is just adorable. We love to see those puppy pix. His ears look as tho they may drop, but who knows. I've never had a GSD or a lab of my own. My breed of choice is the rough coated collie, but they're just too big for my house so I went with the shetland sheepdog as my companion.
Just keep those pix coming!

Jaime,
Beautiful pic of Boomer. We had a black lab, gsd mix, and her face was exactly like Boomers. Her ears both stayed down like the lab. But I see Boomer has more of the square lab muzzle. Beautiful kitties, too.

I think the bigger he is getting, the more lab is showing in his face. Today, his ear is a little bouncier though, so Im thinking that maybe when he is done teething, that both ears could stand. Time will tell I suppose!
Thanks for the nice things about Boomer...he is starting to become a real terror around the house with the chewing, but we still love him. And boy is that dog STUBBORN!!!!!!
