The holiday of Passover is coming up, just wanted to tell everyone that because this is a good time of year to get raw lamb bones as dog treats. They are usually free at the supermarket. I got 2 yesterday.

For people that see these letter, RMB, it's raw meaty bones, and some people are for them and some people are against them. Some people use them in their dogs diet if they feed raw and some people just give them to their dogs.

I'm not into bones or raw feeding, but I believe it's bad to give a dog cooked bones, because they tend to splinter and will be swallowed and could kill your dog, so that is part of why they have to be fed raw. The bones have to be of the highest quality and kept fresh for the dog and the dog should not be left alone with them.

I am sorry I was not more clear, I was just trying to let people know that they were available. Yes, these are fresh raw bones which I do feed my dogs on occasion. I also feed kibble. Rawhides tend to make my dogs ill and I do not want to chance them swelling and killing my dogs. Cooked bones, while more appealing to humans are not good for dogs and as they splinter very easily are very very dangerous and should never be given. Raw bones are the only ones that have never caused my dogs problems, they are kind of gross, but hey, I feel it is worth it.
Take care,
Heather

Do you give the raw bones inside the house? I don't think I could do that. Does it get all over the place?

I actually do give them inside the house, otherwise they will get buried. They eat them on their beds which I wash as often as I remember to. I don't know why it doesn't gross me out, it just doesn't. It just makes my dogs so happy, so to me it is worth it.

I guess I didn't have to appologize, but I always forget that not everyone knows about the raw bones only rule and why. So I regretted not being more specific, besides more information is always better.
