I got Frodo fixed on April 1st and was still exhibiting a lot of aggression. Well the vet said it would take about a month to get the hormone level down in his system.

WEll it has been about 3 weeks since he got his saddle bags emptied and his attitude overall is much better. He does not jump tika near as much, that has not completely stopped but it is minimal now. He is not as aggressive with me either. He is not wanting to be held more and is wanting me to pick him up more. From time to time he will get startled and he will get aggressive but being a small dog I am not surprised he does that. So things are getting better since I got him fixed and I just wanted to let everyone know and say thanks for all the support/help during this rough time in our life.

Hi Luciann!

Thanks for the update. Sounds like things are getting a bit better. Make certain, however, that you're implementing the Nothing in Life is Free Program! That is more important than anything.

Good luck!

his saddle bags emptied

LOL! I'd never heard it put quite this way, and it sure gave me a tickle! I'm going to steal that if you don't mind. Maybe the men won't feel so compelled to cross their legs in response to the "neuter" stipulation in our contract!

Glad to hear all is going better. I personally think that neutered males make the very best companions.

You are more than welcome to use my analogy. I thought of it cause frodo looked like he had bow legs like a cowboy and so i just thought of them as his saddle bags, now they are empty

He was wonderful until we moved and got Tika back permanently then he got aggressive.

I am using the NILIF with them both and he is behaving much better and is more mellow now
