My two little monkeydogs

Ok here's a picture of Skye, my Siberian Husky, from last year. She, I believe, just turned 6 in this picture. That small package you see in the picture is about 45 pounds of fluff and body. She was just about to jump up for a little kiss which she's famous for!

And a picture of Sparky when we were celebrating the new year 2000. Sparky is a shpeherd mix. Still not certain what her mix is but from doggie doors thread some peopel thought possibly greyhound. I think that could be true but I also think she could also have a little terrier in there, but definitely shepherd. She's about 4 years old (9 yrs old now) and about 35 pounds in that picture. As always, she's wagging her tail in this picture! She has little to no control over that tail of hers. It seems to even wag in her sleep sometimes. And what a mush! she loves getting hugs and kisses!

I have one of Skye here relaxing in the cool grass after her buzz cut. She needed it because of some really itchy skin. Boy she seems happy here!

Hi Anne,
Skye is absolutely beautiful! I had a husky many years ago, Nike, (before the sneaker became popular). When we would go for walks, she always got so many complements I started getting a bit jealous! I don't think the dog should be more attractive than the person!

Anne, Skye is so beautiful. She has such unual coloring. You must get a ton of compliments on her if you go to public parks.

People think my chihuahua looks like a mini siberian husky, but when I look at her pic next to your dog, she doesn't so much unless other huskies are differently marked. I do think your dog is very unusual with her colorings. That bright white on her is so pretty.

Hmm I'm not sure where you are getting that. Huskies look just like her ('cept the fur is usually not that long). Siberians anyhow. They are small compared to Malemutes and they are usually black and white, or black, grey, and white, or even tan and white. She was supposed to be a show dog but she has too much fur but her markings are exactly what is desired in that breed. They do not have tan mixed in with their coloring nor are their tails curled upwards unless they are alert but it is not their relaxed position like malemutes have their tail. Malemutes are much bigger and they do have tan/brown mixed in with their fur. They look very different but people are always getting the two breeds confused.

Your Chi is adorable! and I do like the colorings! I call them little big dogs. They think they are 10X their size sometimes. It's so cute! Their expressions say it all!

OK i must say Skye is absolutely gorgeous! I MEANT IT!!!! A beautiful creature you have there. That last pic can be the perfect xmas card but sparky isn't in it, so you can't :( Sparky is a cutie too ;)

you have two gorgeous aniamls there. Both of them. I have two chis and because everyone is use to the teacup or minis they don't believe me that they are chis. I will have to try and get come pics on here for my furbabies.

the male is 13 pounds and the female is 12 pounds and they think they are 10 feet tall and bullet proof....lol

I've seen chi's of all sizes. most do picture the tiny ones. I know how you feel exactly. No one believes me that my husky is really a siberian or at least an adult. She's about to be 7 years old this June and she's only 45 pounds
