can't start thread from AOL

I've read several people can't start threads. I haven't been able to start a thread in a couple of weeks signed on to AOL. I can if I go to IE. Wanted to post this for anyone having trouble....it might be that you're on AOL. I don't know why that's a problem, but it is.

I have the same problem when I try to post from home (AOL). At work, I have no problem.

Hi - I also have had problems starting a thread from AOL, but can do it from IE. I did complain to AOL, and you should also, they sent me an answer with things to do to solve the problem, but have to confess, Lins and work keeps me busy enough :-) that I haven't tried anything yet.

This is not going to sound very pretty because my computer language skills are very ... not developed.
I believe it is because when you are on AOL the site cannot read you IP and therefor you could not be blocked from the site... However, when you are on IE your IP address is available and so the site will allow you to post. I might be wrong because we are allowed to reply but we just cant post. My bf is system admin/computer smart guy and this is what was explained to me as the POSSIBLE reason for not being able to post.
