my male puppy is 10 months old, he is lab/sheppard and is 20 inches high and weighs about 52 ibs, he was the runt of the litter. His mother is 19 inches high and father is 16 inches high. For the high wise, is he finished growing?
I know he can fill out for the next year.

Thanks,

zok

Our female puppy, Ruby, had a growth spurt at a year - or just over a year. I think that she gained a couple of inches and about 15 pounds during that time.

She's two years old now and a little over 60 pounds, and I think that she may have grown a bit more in the past couple of months!?! She's from a shelter and we don't really know what her mix is - we think yellow lab/golden/something else mix - or what her parents looked like, but she's a good bit bigger (in a very healthy and muscular way) than her vets (we take her to a place where there are three in the practice) thought that she would be (they all estimated that she would max out at about 45 pounds).

They grow like weeds, eh? :)

Finnegan (lab ) has stopped growing height-wise. I haven't actually measured him, but it hasn't changed much in the last 2 months. He's 90 lbs. and has been for about 3 or 4 months. However, the breeder we got him from said that he can fill out for about 7 more months. Finn is 17 months now.
