I know they are bad and I do not use them, however I just had a disturbing email from my friends who have their first puppy. The shelter they got him from has taught them to do this as their puppy is showing dominence! Yikes, this shelter sucks...
Anyway, I am trying to reason with them, I have given them articles on NILIF and I would like to give them the article that was in DD which talked about how true pack leaders do not ever perform alpha rolls and how it is just when dogs squable for other positions that this occurs. Anyone remember that article? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hey Heather~
There is an article here http://www.clickersolutions .com/articles/#dominance

That's too bad that people are still doing things like alpha rolls in the year 2005. Oh well, I guess change is slow...
