Great brush!!!!

I just found a great brush. It is called the rubber grooming glove. It works like a charm on Blackie, and whats good about it is it is easy to clean. Its got rubber bristles on both sides and you just stick your hand inside the glove and start a brushin. Now he is so shiny!!!! I found this at PetsMart.I fully recommend this. :D

I massage my dog, but I don't brush her. I wonder if dogs need brushing other than to remove hair? I know my jacket is a great brush, because it is full of dog hair:) My husband will say to me that I have some hair on my fleece jacket, but really, I have some fleece on my hair jacket:)

I may answer my own question, where brushing can stimulate oils in the skin, and that may be good for the skin and a shiny coat.

I have a similar brush, and I love it. Initially, Spanky thought it was playtime when I would try to brush him, and he still did with this brush to an extent. However, it seems to feel really good to him when I brush his belly, so even his hyper little self will allow me to brush him. When he sees that brush now, his tail starts wagging. He occasionally bites at it playfully with his teeth, but he's happy to see it.

The only thing I don't like about it, is you have to get the hair off of it a lot. If you don't the hair that is on it will start to come off on your dog. Does that make sense? I hope it does.

Better off the brush than off the couch or out of the carpet. I had one of those for Magic but she has a double coat and the outer coat is too long for it to be effective.
