My dog is 8 months old now and when I first got him he was fine in the car. I could take him out in it and if I needed to I could run into a store to get something but now if I leave him alone in the car for even a few mins he'll throw up. The weird thing is that if I don't get out of the car when he's with me or if I take him inside with me where I'm going he doesn't get sick. I went to buy smokes one day and took him with me, the store is about 10 mins from my house, I left him in the car when I went into the store and was back out in probably 2 mins and went right back home and just as I was pulling into the driveway he got sick. He hasn't ever gotten sick when he's alone in the car but probably 15 to 20 mins after I've been back in the car with him. My mom went to the store where we got him from to find out why he's really jumpy around us and they told her he had come from an abusive home. Could the throwing up be because he was abused in a car?
