Smilie problem

The : puppy: smilie is not working right. if you click on the little puppy smilie it seems to bring up a different smilie with uppy: next to it.

Sure ya do! When you're typing your messages, look just above the text box to where you can choose your font. About in the middle of that row is a smilie with an arrow. Click on the arrow and the menu will drop down!

I don't have any smilies either. Or a place to choose a font. The only thing above the text box is the bar where you choose, Active Topics User CP FAQ Members List Articles vBChat New Posts Search Quick Links Log Out. It's probably because I am using Opera. I've had issues before where some things aren't compatible with it.

To test my theory, I opened up Internet Explorer but I still don't have any smilies or font options. Does anyone have any other ideas why I can't see the posting options?

your smilie at the end of your message shows up as a picture smilie.

Ahh...I got it. Go into your User CP and look under Edit Options. At the very bottom you can choose what your Message Editor Interface is. It probably says Basic Editor - A simple text box. Choose Standard Editor - Extra Formatting Controls. Save it and go back to post something...you'll notice a huge difference.

ooohh i just changed my User CP and i have all the smilies and font changes on the sidebard. this is great!!! thank you for the heads up!!! :bunny:

I wish. this one is cute! no not my doggie. This one is in the list of avatars in your user cp area. I'll be posting pictures my dogs in the pic forum soon. I will be out this weekend but afterwards I'll go ahead and post some. :)
