Ear

I'm not quite sure where to post this, so I'll put it here :) but understand if it will be moved.

Cocoa's (a 8 month old chi) ears have always stood up. But lately, one of his ears isn't. Just the tip of it is bent/curled backwards a little and it just looks funny.

The other ear is fine.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I dont' know. If you move it does he seem to tense? If he doesnt' react to you touching or moving that part of his ear it just may be how he's holding his ear.

Anyway, no it doesn't seem to bother him, he still lets us touch his ears.

Is Cocoa teething? I have a corgi and was told that if his ears go back down when he is teething, not to worry. So maybe chi's are the same way?

He's done teething, I think. When we got him, he only had a few primary teeth left, and he lost those in the first few weeks. But maybe he has other teeth coming in :confused: :confused: I don't know much about doggie teeth so I have no idea when they come in etc.
