Today I met a Pit Bull

I was at my place of business doing an insurance photo inspection, when an adorable male Pit Bull off leash came wiggling over to me. He was doing that really cute pitty grin, and just leaning into me and my customer. I was concerned we are located on a busy road. I noticed a man there who said he belonged to him and he is the greatest and smartest dog. He takes him all over and Blackie stays right with him, he stops, sits and waits at any crossing, never strays (except for his wonderful greeting of us), never goes into the road. I was told he knows 37 commands. What a wonderful ambassador for this much maligned breed.

that is great i have meet some really loving pitts, unfortunately non-dog people have no clue that it is the training, lack of training or previous treatment of an animal that makes them bad....and i dislike that word really but it is one that most understand...

i do have to say that animals like humans can have twisted memebers that no matter what you do they are twisted....but most of the time it is poor training or the type of training that the animal has had that makes them the way they are....
