i know this is not strictly doggie but i found it while going through my dog pics. it's from a couple of yrs ago when snooker was a kitten and we first introduced him to the pet rats, scooby n shaggy, he was scared of them! fancy that a cat scared of rats!mind though, they were nearly as big as him n 2 of them against 1....:)

We had a rat, like the hooded one. His name was Sweetie-Pie. The gentlest pet I've ever known. :)

Actually I think he was a wise little puss. Rats don't have a fear of humans or other animals that mice do. They will fight back if cornered.

Many years ago I married a rat. Actually, calling him a rat would give rats a bad name:)

That is a really beautiful kitty. I don't mind rats so much, but the tails kind of scare me for some reason.

Great picture!
I love rats. Ok, so I love ALL animals (rats, snakes, dogs, hippos, skunks, whatever).
I have some rat rescues, myself. I'll probably have more soon. My dogs love them! I don't let Peanut play with them outside the cage since she's so big and annoying. :) But Waldo and the rats get along just fine.

The cage is different these days (old picture), but that's their home.
I have an entire room for my little creatures (7 of them total, 3 separate cages). Sickening, ain't it!?

I love rats! I didn't realise how intelligent and what incredible pets they are until I met my friend's rat at university. I was bitten by several class hamsters as a kid so I was a bit scared at first, but Ernie never bit anyone! He was the most gorgeous little guy who used to fall asleep on my shoulder!
