Hey all,
We want to apologize for the recent downtime. What started as bad ram a couple of weeks ago, has now also become a hard drive failure on our primary SCSI drive. This drive has now been replaced, however we've had a few problems along the way with some corruption. We've managed to restore the bulk of things, however there are a few things you should know.
What's missing?
1) All *custom* avatars. You will need to re-upload your own custom avatar if you choose to have one, otherwise you can use one of our stock ones. All members using stock avatars do not have to reset them. I do have backups of all old custom avatars should you need me to restore it for you. However, if you have the ability to restore it yourselves PLEASE do so.
2) Any *recent* profile pics, or signature images that were uploaded/updated on our site (say, the past 7-10 days) will have to be re-uploaded. If you notice a missing image of THESE types, that's most likely what has occurred. The database knows you changed it recently, but we do NOT have those files any longer so go put them back! For a small handful of you, I went in and deleted any missing images myself while browsing about and testing. However, the rest of you will have to do so yourselves.. :tongue:
