I just picked up Sparkle this morning. She was an owner turn in. We just adopted her to this wonderful family but their male won't leave her alone so they decided it was best for her to return her to rescue. She was previously a brood bitch for a breeder here in Florida. She was getting out of the dog business and dumped her leavings on rescue.. I guess it's better she did that rather than leave them in the pound.

Now tomorrow at 2 PM I pick up Parker from another rescue home... Then at 5 PM I have an appointment to pick up Bambi from another woman who is turning him into rescue. So I'll have my two and three fosters for a few days.

Bambi will have to go to the vet and be checked for H/W because this woman never had him on any prevention (I'm sure he'll be positive) So here we go again, another H/W+ dog to nurse back to health because someone coudn't be bothered to medicate the dog...

I'll post pictures of Bambi as soon as I get him here. You have already seen Parker and here is Miss Sparkle

I have to agree with Alberta these kids are lucky to have you on their side and i am so glad that your two kids don't seem to mind to much sharing you with others for short periods of time

Actually Luciann I think it's helping Brandi. She is much less timid than she used to be. I think it's all the traffic in and out of the house with different dogs. She even protects her favorite toys (which she doesn't play with). This is a completely different dog than the one I brought to Florida with me and I love it! Kadin is my little social director, he has never met a person or dog that he doesn't consider his friend... What a clown!

That is great Alberta that Brandi is being helped by Kadin and the foster kids....that is great that Kadin is such a "people person"....it helps Brandi and the fosters i know

I know that me taking the kids to garage sales has helped Tika a lot as well. she is scared of everything but she is not as bad as when she was smaller, we go to yardsales and she has to walk around people and stuff and she does not lunge or bark unless there is a loud noise then she might bark...so i try to make a point of taking them at least a couple of times a month to yard sales...
