I had read that Dogwise published a new book by Turid Rugaas (Author of "On Talking Terms with Dogs, Calming Signals"). It's called "Barking: the Sound of Language". I checked it out on Amazon:

Sold out right now, but it's going to be a number one on my wish list for sure. It's inexpensive, just over $10.00 on amazon, and $12.95 on Dogwise.

I know with Linus I can always tell what he is barking at--DH will ask, and I can tell it's a dog going by, he wants attention, someone he knows has pulled in the driveway, etc. I am sure most of us can tell by the "tone" in their voices, just as with kids.
I am also hoping she puts out a DVD on this. She is so in tune with dogs and what they mean. Can't wait to read it.
