Since we have two new puppies my dog Blackie has not been eating all or any of his food. We have kept his feeding schedule the same, but we have been giving him some food when the puppies eat theirs at dinner time so he won't eat their food. I think he is unhappy with us for getting new dogs. We do give him time alone from the puppies and we give him time just to spend with us(like taking him for walks without the pups). I don't know what to do though???????????

Hi Justine,
Give Blackie time. Adding new pups can upset the ol' apple cart so just keep doing what you're doing and be patient.
Good luck,
Joyce

Thanks Joyce. As soon as I let the pups out and left Blackie in with an empty peanut butter jar he was all happy :bunny: . I sure do hope that he will feel better soon though. ;)

justine, he'll be fine before you know it. like mentioned before its a transition for everyone. my chloe hasn't eaten well since bailey has come home, she's too excited, but him on the other hand is quite an eater. you'll see the pics to prove is hearty appetite.

i know it took poppy a good fortnight to be ok with amber moving in. we put it down to her being unsure as to wether this puppy was visiting, then she realised, oh the puppy's staying, and finally....,better make the best of it and sfter that she was cool with it:)

Well Blackie is fine and the puppies are gone. We are not keeping them. One of the puppies however got adopted the day we dropped her off.

Thanks Luciann. We are still searching for the perfect doggie for us. We have been thinking that we might move to a house with a bigger yard, although we still are not decided.
