The New Chatroom

Hey everybody! If you look towards the top middle of the page you might notice a chat link. That is a great way to keep in touch with your fellow Doggie Bag members.

I would like to point out something however. Often when a chatroom is new, not as many people are there. It will help if you have the time to go in there and just hang out for a while. The more people hang in there the more people will visit.

For now I'd like to invite everyone to a Tuesday night hangout! Starting at around 7pm till whenever this Tuseday January 31.

I hope to see everyone there!

P.S. This also doesn't mean that you can't come and visit the chatroom any other time. I am hoping to make a time meanwhile when we all can meet and talk to each other.

Hi,

To clarify, judging by the NC next to your name, I guess the 7pm is Eastern Standard time? That's a good time since everyone should be home from work and it won't be dreadfully late for west coasters. We have a 3 hour difference, so it would be 10pm for people on the west coast.

I may be cutting some zzzzs at that time, but it's a great idea to set up a definite time!

If you or anyone else have a different time suggestion for a DBO chat or an additional meeting time along with the 7pm EST, we can set up for people in a much different time zone let me know. You are right. I had forgotten to mention the time is eastern standard time USA.

Just remember, everyone is more than welcome to sit and idle in the chatroom. It keeps the room looking a lot more welcome and you never know who'll appear to say "Hi!".

Grace, if you are on the west coast of the us, wouldn't your time be 4pm while it's 7pm here?

If that's the case then keep in mind, the chatroom would be open as long as possible. It's never closed!

Can't seem to connect to the chat room.

You probably need to just keep trying. sometimes the connection is a little off. It's not a irc perfect server :( so I really hope you do have better luck soon!

If enough peopel are having trouble connecting and retrying and retrying seems to get you nowhere, I will attempt to find a differen irc server. I really am hoping to get this working!
