Just wanted to say thanks again to you, Colleen, for clearly working hard on this website and providing a wonderful "second phase" to doggie door. The new Doggie Bag site looks and works GREAT!!
Along with my huge thanks to you, I would like to thank everyone who contributes and posts on this website. I truely enjoy logging in each day and feeling like I have some dog friends out there who really love their pets and care so much about their dogs. As a first time dog owner but long time dog lover, the information I learn each day is invaluable and I truely believe it makes me a better dog owner and therefore, my dog happier.

I totally agree with Chris. Colleen is the greatest!
I heard on the news last night that people are spending more money on their pets :dog:, than they do on toys or even jewelry! I pointed that out to my husband, who thinks I'm spoiling Finnegan.

I would just like to reitterate how well Colleen has done with this site. I know it takes endless hours to get a site up to this level and maintain it. Everything from the articles section to the FAQ section is so user freindly and helpful. The site is growing, the member list is growing and best of all the amount of helpful/useful information is growing. When DoggieDoor.com closed, the first thing that disheartened me was the thought of all the dogs out there with misinformed handlers. So many people changed the way they cared for and trained their dog because of DD. Even people who got their first dog (and shouldn't have) have a place to go and learn rather than just getting rid of the misbehaving dog. Honestly, I think sites like this lower the number of dogs that end up in shelters. Sometimes people do not have 'terrible dogs', they just don't know how to handle certain situations. That is the benefit of this site. I have even recommended it to everyone that is in my HORRIBLE training class. I told them it is a place to learn about training your dog WITHOUT strangling them (it is a choker class).
Anyway, I know this has all been said many times before but....Thanks to Colleen and everyone else contributing to this site.

I am SO glad that Doggie Bag has worked out the way it has. I didn't really know what I was getting into, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
