Magic and I are going to have so much fun with her Obed 2 RRR. This gal is great, and we already have homework! For the next four weeks Magic and I will be entering the world of doggie training and developing a trusting relationship with each other. I am so happy I found someone who understands Magic's issues and is willing to help me out with them. Her rescued dog Cyd had the same problems that Magic has now, and she's just the sweetest little thing there is after the correct +R training was implemented, never mind that she was rehomed four times for being a terror and a fear biter. I'll bring a camera, and if I'm allowed I'll take some pictures!

That's awesome, Judy! I just got the money to put Sally in a +R training class. The trainer has already met with Sally and I to see exactly what her issues are (well...were at the time) and gave me some pointers to bring her out of her shell before starting the class. I'm calling tomorrow to set up when we can start! :-D

Obed 2 RRR......do the R's stand for something?

OOPS! Sorry, Obed 2 is the second leg of obedience training after basic, sit, stay, lie down, and come. RRR stands for "Really reliable recall" an emergency command that teaches them to come immediately and is used for the safety of the dog when they are off leash. After we complete this training we will sign up for basic fly ball training.
