I'm just venting. I might be adopting a fourth. There's a male sib, young adult, that was found wondering. He has infections in his eyes, ears, testicles and a UTI, he has a complete tear in one knee and he is 25 lbs underweight. I can't believe someone could let a dog get into that bad of shape. When he's ready, I'm sure I'll adopt him, well, I suppose its up to the shelter. His pic is soooo sad!

You are a saint for looking at adopting a fourth. thou i have to say if i had room and the money i would take very animal at the shelter here. just to save them.

I wish him a speedy recovery and that if you do not get him that he goes to a loving home....

Mask is doing well, his infections are gone and he's going in for his surgery on his knee. His foster mom has decided to keep him so he has found a good home!

Hi Jen,

Before I read what you wrote, I also thought the picture of the dog looked like he was sad. It's good to hear you took him in, got him fixed up and he has a new home. What you did for him is truly fantastic. I've been lucky where the dog's I've found have had collars and tags and escaped by accident, so they were returned to their owners in good shape and were only missing in action for that one day.

My dog will not tolerate another dog around the house, so it's good that I was able to return them all in the same day. Once she really got bent out of shape and was crying at night. I think the dog's presence in our yard before he was returned at night really upset her. I rushed my dog to a vet, but they found nothing wrong with her. When I got her home, she was as fine as can be. She wouldn't eat all day because of the dog in my yard, so between that and being upset, I think she got herself all worked up.

Bye, Grace

Now that we adopted Sally, Precious won't allow another female dog in our house. I tried to foster a dog from my shelter and every time the dog would use the bathroom on the pee pad, Precious would go find another place in the house to use the bathroom (She was house trained but the puppy was not!)

Now it's either Sally or no one! lol
