Sharing new baby news...

We got a brother for Chloe Sasha yesterday!!!!!!!!!! I am so psyched!!!!!!! It was very spur of the moment, just like Chloe Sasha, but we are already inlove wit him. He is a beautiful brindle & white 4 month old shih tzu, he's a little overweight so he waddles (very cute), my husband named him Teddy Bear because he looks and feels like one. I also noticed that his paws are double the size of Chloe's and he's about the same size but he's shorter than her with short legs. Chloe is taller and lean (like a lady). I think he's going to be much bigger than her though. Today is Chloe's 1st birthday, so we consider her brother a birthday present. I think 2 shih tzu's are DEFINITELY better than one! I will post pics very very soon! I am one very happy Momma.

What wonderful news! You'll have to keep us updated on how they get along. My pup is 1 year old, and we've been kicking around the idea of getting her a playmate.

I totally agree with you, TWO shih tzus are better than one!! I bet Clhoe is going to be one happy baby now that she has a brother :grin: :-D ...did you pick up a name for him yet? I'm so glad you went for a boy!! he sounds a bit like my Giotto ( chubby and cute !) ;)

I on the other hand wanted to name him Sammy or something closer to Chloe Sasha. We'll see if Teddy Bear sticks. He also looks a bit like Snoopy so I thought Snoopy Sammy. LOLOLOL

Ok ok so i have to admit...I AM SOOOO JELOUS! I would lov e another shih tzu but i dont think my mom could take another animal WE live in a 3 family house. I live with my mom upstairs with her chow and my shitzu my sister below us with 3 cats and below that my brother with a noisy sun conure parrot. I will have to wait until after grad school and i move out to get mutzzy a playmate. I still kick around names anyway...like Basil or Tomato....perhaps another cheese....Mutzzy & Gudda? lol

hi francesca, i cannot lie its so cute to see them together. i can see chloe's excitement of having someone to play with. i love it, i think it was a very good decision. i work and so does my husband, i ALWAYS have a guilt trip about leaving Chloe when we leave for work, but now I'm happy knowing she has company. with time you'll be able to do it.

I am very jealous, but very happy for you. I wish I could get another bulldog but unfortunately my boyfriend and I just don't have the space right now. I bet you are having so much fun with another puppy in the house. Congratulations!

Congrats!!!! I have posted about my two girl pups that I might adopt to keep my lab company. Its going to be a chore though potty training two puppies. I agree two dogs are better than one.( in my case 3 are better than 1.)

it is great with two. they look so happy together and soo busy. chloe has ignored us since sunday. i do miss her coming to cuddle with me, or bringing her toys to me to play fetch, but most of all her special dance when i got home to greet me. i hope she calms down soon and remembers her humans. LOLOLOLOL

when you have time and space its something worth doing. i thought i was getting Bailey for Chloe but it turns out he was really for the entire family.
