Hello and Happy Holidays everyone! been a bit since I have been here computer, work and family issues..... but all is back to normal (what ever that is) LOL! Just wanted to check in. My baby is no longer a baby but a big girl now heres the scoop. My Freesia girl is now 16 months and is doing so well! We don't know what breeds she has my guess is shepard husky. She was a rescue. Mom was a feral they trapped with the pups at about 6 weeks. We got her at 4 mos. she was so timid and fearful and not very healthy. She has demodex(sp) and when she gets stressed and the mites just take over, poor baby! She was afraid of everything and when she got spooked she would panic and just bolt. We were afraid we would lose her or she would get hit by a car when the panic set in. She is on meds for the mites and benadryl to keep her calm. Her appetite has got better and that is helping alot too. Freesia is such a love she thinks she is a lap dog but at 70 lbs I don't think so. LOL We have had great progress socializing her with other animals she is not as submissive but still does not like playing but if a dog will run with her she is in heaven! She obeys well except for getting her to come back to us even with bribery of treats. She never tires I think she is part enegizer bunny!
