I would like to work more on clicker training with my dogs but have found it difficult to try to use the clicker with both dogs present because sometimes the one dog responds to the cues I'm giving the other one. I would like to work with them more in the house. Do you think it would be confusing to one dog if I completely ingored him while I'm working with the other dog?

Hi Vanessa~

If it's been difficult using the clicker with both dogs present, you can put one "away" while working with the other dog. Put the dog in a quiet spot like his bed or crate with a kong filled with yummies.

What can help as well is using two different clickers with different sounds (not all brands of clickers sound the same, some are louder, some more distinct in the clicking etc.).
This helps me a lot when one of our cats decide to join one of the doggy clicker sessions.... ;)
