help finding a trainer

Since moving I have been working at a local boarding facility... I would very much like to find a trainer in the Lousiana area I could work with to help me gain the knowledge and experience I'll need to become a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. I've had the best luck on the APDT website, but wanted to see if any of you in the profession know of someone in my area who would be open to the idea.

The IAABC has a much higher standard than the APDT does (the APDT requires no education or experience, just money!).
