View Full Version : Alternative HW prevention??

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good alternative HW preventatives. I have been doing a lot of reading on HW pills and have been really bothered by the level of toxins being taken in by the dog every month.

In having a dog that reacts to EVERYTHING, I have started seeking out my options. I use a homeopath with Sonny, and she has reccomended that I use a HW nosode. Has anyone here ever used them? Has anyone had success with anything else?

I would appreciate any advice :D

You can actually give this treatment homeopathically. I believe the result is the same but without the harsh treatment. You give them following a schedule which you can copy from my remedy page at the bottom on www.caninecaregroup. net and if you need a contact for the pills then let me know if this is the way you would like to proceed.

I went to the site that you posted, and while there is a lot of good info on it, I cannot find the link on HW??? Am I missing something here??

Go to the remedy page, at the bottom is a little article on Nosodes, this is what you need to copy as this is how you will need to give the HW nosode, that is why I sent you. If you want the Heartworm pills, go to www.pets4homeopathy. com and write ordering them from there as they are much closer to you than I am in the UK. We do keep them in stock if you need to get them from us if P4H cannot help though I am sure they will be able to. Hope that helps. Glad you liked the site. It should be better soon with the new stuff added and a few changes to tidy it up!

I use a professional homeopath with Sonny, and she has discussed using the HW nosode with him. What is the difference between the nosode and the pill?? Do you think that one is more effective than the other?

If you are with a professional homeopath then leave them to tell you the best way of doing things. They should also give you the dosing of the pill/nosode. We use nosodes.

She is sending me a HW nosode (in liquid form). Thanks for your help ;)
