I have the worst time shaving my male, Bo's face - it seems more bony than Maddy's, and I find little tufts of hair still there, so have to go in and at it again and again! I'm using the cordless Wahl Arco Moser's, and do love them. His skin is very sensitive, so have to put Witch Hazel all over face and throat when I'm done (even when he went to a groomer), so he doesn't burn and scab over and/or scratch and scab. Grrrr! Maddy's face is easy to shave even though she's dark, and her face comes out smooth and soft as satin (all the better to kiss).
I've heard good things about the Laube Speed Feed - and some have said they think it's much better than the Moser. Anyone here use the Laube?? I like their FFT (face, feet and base of tail shaved to the skin), and the Moser does a wonderful job. Tummies are not so easy, but . . .thinking that's just me. NOVICE is my name! LOL But, $150/month for grooming plus $200/mo. for food makes me work harder to make this grooming myself thing work!
