Thank you all!! It has been tough, but I have come to terms with it and it made me feel so much better. I think that all of you have help so much with your words of encouragement! Today will be sad but it will be happy as well. Im sure that Apollo is enjoying his only dog status and will probably pout when his reign as "king" comes to an end. We are already looking at getting another dog, this time a rescue, while I think its a little to fast, I am missing the little body curled up behind me. Maybe this will be a better birthday present than what happened with Charlie. He will always be in my heart and my memories.

I wanted to say Happy Birthday as well and that I've been thinking about you. I'm glad to hear that you're looking forward in rescuing a dog. I've had Missy now for 6 months as a rescue and I've been very blessed to have her as mine and Dooley's companion.
