I posted earlier that my mom won't use the +R method or the terms I use to train my Magic. Well I sat down with Mom to try and explained one more time why I was using this method(with a prayer sent above) I explained to her Magic's early development and her lack of training when she was young and why she has such a sensitivity to punishment. I went over what the terms mean: off means get off, down means lay down, sit means sit, I went through all of it. Tonite I was at the computer and Magic was "helping" grandma do the dishes in the kitchen, she inspects them as they go into the dishwasher. Well she must have gone to the trash can and was nosing around and all of a sudden I heard a very stern "leave it" from the kitchen. I almost fell off my chair! WooHOO I'm soooo Happy! We are now on the road to everyone being happy and comfortable.
