Im not sure where to put this. But here it is. We are treating our yard and home with pesticides. (With the appropriate precations of course.) We have sprayed the dogs with Flys Off, and sprinkled the yard with lime and sevendust. It says on the package that you can dust your dogs with this. Two of our dogs stay mostly outside, they dont like to come inside and prefer to hang out, outside. My dog Charlie however prefers to be inside with me. I want to dust him with this sevendust. But the package does not tell me too much other than to not get it in his eyes, mouth, or on his "parts" :D , what other precautions should I take, should I leave him outside for awhile, prevent him from getting on the bed? How thickly should I dust him? Any help would be great.

I have never heard of putting sevin on an animal. Why would you want to do this? Every time you pet the dog you would get it on you!
I just googled Sevin precautions and it says NOT to use it on animals and to wash your hands thoroughly after using.
Here are the two links I found. Please reconsider. If your wanting to treat for fleas, I hope you'll use a more animal friendly alternative.

it use to be common to put sevendust on animals but it really is not good for them. you might want to use frontline or advantage on the animals and the seven dust on the yard
