magoo

I THOUGHT my dog(Magoo) and the foster(Heineken) had been nasty to each other in the past. I just broke up an almost real fight though - and I'll have to say- what I saw before wasn't aggression...
It's about 90 here in Chicago - with humidity - both the dogs have been dead to the world for 3 days straight.
I just got back from my first group obedience lesson with Magoo (and walked a mile home after my car overheated - so - maybe he's cranky, and stressed from obedience with other dogs?...)
Anywho - no bites or anything - but it was turning ugly -
They've been doing pretty well together for the last month...I was so proud.
Could it be the heat?
Any good way to cool a dog down? I've been giving them ice cubes and spraying them with a plant mister.
They're separated for now - and will be for the night and probably the next few weeks - my sister is out of town and I don't think I could break that up again on my own - I think I got lucky this time...
Heineken (the foster) is on the porch (enclosed) with plenty of water and a fan...
(weirdly enough - I think it was Heineken who started it, usually it's been Magoo who was being obnoxious - Heineken hasn't shown a bit of spunk for 3 months and then all of a sudden, today - he starts picking up tennis balls and dropping them for me and running around like a nut bag - he was neutered 2 weeks ago - could this have an effect on his energy level?)
I feel so bad for him out there - but better than an emergency vet run - especially since my car is dead down the street and I'd have no way to get there!
Anyone else experiencing more aggression with a turn of the thermostat?
J and M and H.
