This is my bros new pup. His name is Fry and we are thinking he is mostly beagle. The vet tech that lives next door to my bro and his fiancee had suggested Black and Tan Coonhound..so we will see what he looks like as he gets bigger. He is just about 8-10 weeks old now.

My bro and his fiancee sort of "wound up" with this little guy. The person getting rid of his litter had brought the puppy in to future sis in laws work, and while she was on the phone with my bro to see if a puppy would be okay with him, the guy left her there with the puppy. It all turned out okay though, because my bro and his fiancee are in love with the little fella, and he is going to be going EVERYWHERE they go!!

Hmm... coon hound, yeah I could see that. It's so hard to tell when they are puppies sometimes... those cute, fluffy-rounded features... Aww, it just makes my heart melt!

He's so cute, and his name is FRY! Hoooray! How did he end up with that name? Your brother and his fiancee aren't Futurama fans by any chance are they?

NICE! People are sooo irresponsible! This guy doesn't get his dog spayed, then just leaves a puppy with someone?!? This type of behavior is why so many dogs wind up in shelters! Thank Goodness your bro could take this cutie in!

awwwww, he's so cute, I can definitely see the beagle on him, but I'm guessing he's more coonhound... I guess you'll just gotta wait and see!!!!!
He's a cutie, thank god he ended up with your bro's girlfriend... otherwise only god knows what would have happened to him!!!!

What an adorable , lucky little pup! Can't wait to see pictures 6 months from now to see how he looks all grown up. We once had a Lab/Dobe cross who looked much like this as a pup.

And, I just have to agree with Melissa, how utterly irresponsible of his original owner. Unplanned puppies and then trying to "dump" them on people... :evil:

I hope that the other members of this precious litter are as safe and loved as Fry is. :sad:

Thanks for the nice replies everyone! yes, little Fry has really lucked out. He will be like an only child for my bro and his fiancee. They are nuts about him.

And yes, his official name is Phillip J. Frye. Apparently my bro watches a lot of Futurama. My bro sort of reminds me of Bender...LOL.

I will post pics as he gets bigger. We are all anxious to see what he is going to turn into!
