Hi All,
You may have noticed the new link at the top left of the page. Fun Stuff for Dogs has been mentioned in a few of the posts on this forum so we've teamed up to help get the word out about their great stuff! There are some truely unique items on the site and some yummy treats (natural ones too) for your pooches! Anyway, check it out!

Hi Colleen - I went to Fun Stuff for dogs. Great site, thanks. I ordered the treat stick, Bubble Buddy (this sounds like a lot of fun I'll let you know how it works), and an antlerz--I like the sound of this since deer naturally shed their antlers. I was looking for something special for when I want Linus to "settle" on his mat, so will try that.

I wonder if it is correct to post here.

I just saw this product called a ReLeash where it allows you to clip your dog's leash on the device around your waist. I am wondering if it is really effective. Anyone tried it?

That is actually the item I was thinking of buying. I have always wanted to try one out.

It sounds like a good idea. Unless, a wandering dog attacks your dog or something else happens where you really need to make sure that you are not going to get pulled somewhere or knocked down. Unless you are hiking somewhere you know you won't run into any "situations", I'd be afraid of the loss of control.

It looks like it has a handle on the actual leash part, so if anything did happen, you'd be able to grab onto that like any other leash.

I received my order from Fun Stuff and loved the treat stick--something new for Linus to work on getting food from :D , and I loved the bubbles (he's still unsure about them, but I am enjoying them), but was a little concerned about the antlerz. I had ordered the large size and it is only 4 inches long, and maybe 1 inch in diameter, and I was concerend about it being a choking hazard for Linus. I never give him chew things unless I am there, but felt he could (and does) roll on his back while enjoying a good chew, and this might slip down hs throat. I sent an e-mail to Lisa, who had done a customer service follow up, and she answered the next day, and agreed that it could be a problem for a large mouthed dog, and offered to replace it with something more suitable. She then sent an e-mail, saying it had shipped--and this was before I even got to the PO to return the antlerz. Great service!
